Humane Society of Central Oregon Thrift Store New Location Celebration

0

The Humane Society of Central Oregon’s new Thrift and Furniture Store location is having a grand opening celebration July 26-28. The new store consolidates the previous Greenwood store and Paws and Shop Old Mill locations all under one ‘woof.’  Shoppers can now sniff out a bargain in the spacious 17,000 square feet of retail space in Bend on S. Hwy 97 across from Walmart.

Volunteers and staff have sorted the amazing donations from the community and have stocked the 17,000 square feet of shopping space with great bargains and unique treasures. Enjoy refreshments and enter a drawing for an opportunity to win prizes including gift certificates to the store. First 100 shoppers each day will have the chance to draw a coupon up to 50 percent off entire purchase!

The new Thrift Store has 5,000 square feet of furniture, a huge book nook (with alphabetized books), specialty clothing departments, including maternity, vintage, and evening wear, and a larger selection of children’s clothing and toys. The housewares, jewelry, home décor’ and pet departments have expanded, and there is a spacious new donation drive through for those tax-deductible donations.

On top of the bargains, all donations and money generated stays local to support the Humane Society of Central Oregon’s programs and services that help the people and animals in the community. Support the mission of caring for abandoned, stray, neglected, surrendered and abused animals by donating gently used items or your time as a volunteer.

On Saturday, July 27 there will be animals available for adoption from 10am -2pm. The new Thrift Store has expanded hours of Monday through Saturday 10am -7pm  and Sunday 10am-6pm. The donation hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. 61220 S. Highway 97
