Counseling services are provided by graduate students who are receiving supervision in a variety of counseling techniques. Student counselors are trained to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, depression and trauma. Participation in the free counseling requires completing an initial evaluation. Sessions will take place at the
OSU-Cascades’ counseling program is accredited by the Council for Accrediting Counseling and Related Educational Programs. The program is recognized by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and the National Board of Certified Counselors as meeting requirements for state licensing and national certification.
Services are available to adolescents, adults and couples. The clinic also now offers trauma and reintegration counseling services for veterans and their families.
