The community festivities will include free activities: a bouncy house, Velcro wall, carnival games, water balloons, sidewalk chalk drawings and food sampling.
It’s cummer carnival time, and it’s all about families, fun and celebrating the warmest season in Central Oregon. This year’s C.E. Lovejoy’s Brookswood Market Summer Carnival will take place on Saturday, August 10 from 3 – 6pm. Performers from the Bend Circus Center will be mingling with the crowd, and at 3:45pm the Hokule’a Ohana Hawaiian Dancers will be performing on the Plaza in front of Lovejoy’s.
“This is one of our biggest community events of the year and it’s all about fun in the sun,” said Diana Franko, Lovejoy’s Store Manager. “We were excited to add the Bend Circus Center, Hawaiian Dance performers and Velcro wall this year, along with a special discount grocery coupon for the entire weekend!
