House Speaker Tina Kotek (D-Portland) announced interim committee assignments for members of the Oregon House of Representatives. From Central Oregon Gene Whisnant was appoint to three committees: Human Services and Housing, Higher Education and Workforce Development and Education Committee. Jason Conger was assigned to the Revenue Committee.
Legislative committees will meet in public hearings at the State Capitol in September and November 2013 and January 2014. The next committee meetings will be held September 16-18.
