Murray and Holt Motors Sells Third/Franklin Lot

Murray and Holt Motors will relocate its display lot to Second and Franklin, utilizing space and making room for a Walgreens Drug Store.

Murray and Holt Motors has announced the sale of its display lot on Third St. and Franklin to Third and Franklin, LLC of San Francisco, California. Murray and Holt will relocate the sales lot to the area between the Murray and Holt Motors main building at Second St. and Franklin Ave. and the Sherwin Williams paint store on Franklin Ave. The former “Right On The Corner” lot will become a new Walgreens Drug Store.

“We are excited about the move,” said Jack Holt, co-owner of Murray and Holt Motors. “The new lot allows us to expand our display, we have a great new neighbor and Walgreens is a welcomed addition to the area.”

The new lot will carry the same or greater number of vehicles as currently displayed. In addition, Murray and Holt Motors will retain all of the service, detail and parts functions currently in operation. The relocation also allows for a utilization of previously empty space, a greater selection of vehicles, and better new technology LED lighting. The estimated move date is scheduled for Labor Day.

Murray and Holt Motors has played a stable role in the Bend community since 1957. The move allows the company to expand its great customer base, while retaining its current location and business operation. The sale of the existing lot also provides space for the new Walgreens drug store, a positive addition to the Third Street corridor.
