Ken Streater, author of The Gift of Courage, is hosting and producing a night of inspirational speeches and electrifying music in order to raise funds for local non-profits Sparrow Clubs, Family Access Network and Kids in the Game.

An Evening of Empowerment is scheduled for the Tower Theatre on November 5, at 7pm. It will feature three world-class speakers who will share their rewards and challenges as leaders in Central Oregon and beyond. Eric Plantenberg, Jeff Leeland, and Kelley Kalafatich will each talk about love, leadership, and living dreams.

In addition, local musical favorite Mosely Wotta will perform. “I wanted to create an event that showcases people who lead passionate and purposeful lives, people that make a huge difference in their respective communities.

I wanted this event to make a huge difference in our community as well, to empower families and kids, as well as those who attend. The ticket sale proceeds are going to these three very worthy organizations and those in the audience will experience life-changing inspiration,” said Ken Streater. Meryl Streep calls The Gift of Courage “one of the good news stories that resonate within every life…that anyone can take to heart.” An Evening of Empowerment promises to be the same.

Kelley Kalatfatich, pioneering international adventure guide and Eric Plantenberg, a national personal development industry leader, are both highly regarded TEDx speakers. Jeff Leeland, the founder of Sparrow Clubs, is an award-winning author.

Mosely Wotta is an acclaimed band led by visionary Jason Graham. Tickets are available online at www.eveningofempowerment.org. The cost is $35 per adult and $20 per youth (under 16). Free beverages and snacks are included, as well as the opportunity to spend time with the guest speakers after the show.
