FIRST STORY & COAR
A local family moved into the home of their dreams. Thanks to the nonprofit groups First Story, Heart of Oregon Corps YouthBuild program, volunteers from the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS and local builder Hayden Homes Toby Borden and his family received the keys to their new home this August in Redmond. To qualify for the First Story home, the Bordens went through a comprehensive interview and assessment process and were required to meet certain income guidelines. The Borden’s purchased the home through a zero down payment and a zero interest 30-year home loan from First Story. COAR was delighted to furnish the landscaping materials for the home, assist with the wall raising last April and the home dedication on August 6th and purchase a brick that was placed in the driveway.
