U.S. Bank, through the U.S. Bank Foundation, presented $31,500 in grants to local arts and cultural nonprofits throughout Central and Eastern Oregon including High Desert Museum, Cascade School of Music and High Chamber Music in Bend.

“Our communities have a great need for the support of essential programs that otherwise would not exist. U.S. Bank is committed to making an impact across the region for programs that enrich the lives of our community through the arts,” said Stacey Dodson, region president for U.S. Bank in Central and Eastern Oregon.

“We encourage our communities’ nonprofit groups to apply for grant funding through our online application system at www.usbank.com.”

The U.S. Bank Foundation has three grants cycles per year through which qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations are able to apply for funding: economic opportunity grants improve the opportunities of low to moderate income residents, such as affordable housing, workforce preparedness and economic development; arts and cultural grants support arts in education and civic amenities in underserved or rural locations and education grants provide needed funding for education programs that promote academic achievement through effective mentoring programs, financial literacy training, providing low-income and at risk students the tools needed for succeeding in school and preparing for post-secondary education.

Through these grants, U.S. Bank is reaching into its communities and providing much needed support for the success and growth of each person that is positively impacted by nonprofit programs.Application: www.usbank.com/community/charitable-giving.html
