Redmond Economic Development Inc. and the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB announce a new manufacturing enterprise will locate in Redmond at the former Walmart location, creating over 100+ jobs in the community.
BasX Solutions is very excited to have just purchased a 100,000 square foot facility in Redmond; many people refer to as the old Walmart building. BasX Solutions is a newly formed LLC that will be managed by David Benson and Matthew Tobolski.

Benson is leaving his manufacturing firm in Tualatin where he was president and founder of a 750 person manufacturing company. Tobolski, PE PHd, is a founding partner of Tobolski Watkins, a structural engineering firm based in San Diego as well as an office in Bend.
BasX Solutions projects that there will be upward of 150 jobs created in this operation over the next two years. Benson says he is excited to have this opportunity to be working with Redmond and surrounding communities, Tobolski, as well as his three grown children Dan, Cambria and Derek who will be working directly or in support of this operation.
In a meeting at the newly acquired building, Benson acknowledged the outstanding community support and leadership that helped make this transaction possible. Specifically thanking Eric Sande, of the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB, for his persistence over 16 years to make sure that the next business development undertaken by Benson and his team happens in Redmond.
“After so many years of trying, with countless emails and phone calls, it so nice to welcome BasX Solutions and my good friend David Benson, his family and Matthew Tobolski to Redmond,” said Eric Sande, executive director of the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB.
