Annual Camp Fire quality chocolate fundraising sale benefits Central Oregon and its youth by supporting programs and teaching valuable skills.
From January 11 through February 12, Camp Fire Central Oregon will be conducting its annual Quality Chocolate Fundraiser. Camp Fire’s youth members will be selling Creamy Smooth Mint Patties, Almond Roca Buttercrunch, and Almond Caramel Clusters throughout Bend and Redmond (see below for a list of specific locations) for $6 per package. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be applied toward providing financial aid for after-school programs, awarding summer camp scholarships, and expanding program offerings.
“By taking part in this unique learning opportunity, boys and girls who participate in the Quality Chocolate Sale learn presentation skills, teamwork, responsibility, and goal-setting,” said Kecia Kubota, Executive Director, Camp Fire Central Oregon Council. “They build confidence and have fun, too, and may not even realize they’re learning valuable skill sets.”
“Purchasing from Camp Fire is a simple way for community members to support their youth. With just a few dollars, you can make an investment that has immeasurable returns,” said Kubota. “We hope you will show your support for our biggest fundraiser of the year! And if you are able to have a club visit your place of business for candy sales, please email us at info@campfireco.org and we will get it scheduled.”
Each year, Camp Fire Central Oregon youth members take part in this decades-old tradition, selling thousands of units of chocolates and generating thousands of dollars for our council. These efforts coupled with support from Central Oregon citizens and businesses help maintain a full range of programs and services that directly enrich the lives of youth in our area and better our community.
Camp Fire Quality Chocolates can be purchased for one’s self, as a unique gift, or as an incentive item. Companies have also chosen to use Camp Fire Chocolates as a way to promote to their employees and constituents their commitment to community involvement.

Founded in 1916, Camp Fire Central Oregon now serves about 500 youth and adults in the Central Oregon community. The nonprofit youth development organization offers weekly after-school programs; monthly family-friendly Camp Fire Connects events, partnering with other local community organizations; annual summer camps; and leadership development and skill-building workshops for boys and girls ages 4 to 21.
Camp Fire is one of the nation’s leading nonprofit youth development agencies, currently serving nearly 750,000 participants annually. Founded in 1910 as “Camp Fire Girls,” the contemporary, coeducational Camp Fire provides all-inclusive, age-appropriate, outcome- and research-based programs in hundreds of communities across the United States. Camp Fire’s programs, including small group experiences, after-school programs, camping, environmental education, and service learning, build confidence in younger children and deliver hands-on, youth-driven leadership experiences for older youth.
Young people want to shape the world. Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are. In Camp Fire, it begins now. Light the fire within.
