High Desert Maker Mill, a non-profit entity, is calling together community of advisers, donors, executive board, supporters and other community members for an update on HDMM’s latest news regarding a Maker Space. The event will be held on April 1 from 6-8pm at Pappy’s Pizzeria.
See a demonstration of 3D scanning systems that range from hobby to professional grade, an example of the advanced manufacturing technology High Desert Maker Mill will make available to the Central Oregon community.
Dan Ferguson, from Global Inspection Solutions, will demonstrate a variety of scanners, and his personal experiences. The event will also serve as a fundraiser to raise funds needed to open Central Oregon’s first maker space. Pappy’s Pizzeria will donate half of proceeds from pizza sales to HDMM.
