On April 19…following The Week of the Young Child, Healthy Beginnings will be hosting its Early Childhood Resource Fair at St. Charles Medical Center Conference rooms from 9am-1pm. Title sponsor, Elemental Eyecare, will be there amongst 35 vendors, preschools, organizations, recreation services, who will display and/or demonstrate information, resources, products and services to educate and inform parents of young children. This event is free to families and parents do not need to register to attend.
During the Fair, Healthy Beginnings will be administering our (brand-new) custom preschool health screenings to visiting families called 4 Before 5. 4 Before 5 simply means that they will screen children 0-5 years of age on four health essentials: Vision, Hearing, Child Development and Behavior.
Healthy Beginnings is excited to bring together all the partners of our community that benefit families with 0-5 year old children to one venue. This fair is simply a one-stop-shop for parents seeking resources for raising healthy active young children.
They want all parents of the young child (ages 0-5 years old) and in the Bend area to attend this very informative event. Entertainment by JanellyBean as well as face painting for the kids. Parents, be sure to take advantage of our FREE health screening available during this event.
