This year’s networking event on May 15 will focus on Oregon’s growing entrepreneurial bioscience community. From the Willamette Valley to eastern Oregon, from Portland to Medford, new entities are emerging from every corner of Oregon. However, unlike previous startups, this new crop of companies will benefit from a stronger foundation of available resources and industry network.
As bioscience continues to grow through our most recent recession, it has gained a reputation for resiliency and vitality. Now with the activity surrounding the $1 billion Knight Cancer Challenge Grant, the bioscience industry has gained momentum and credibility in Salem and beyond. This year’s event will offer speakers from all over Oregon to describe the resources and opportunities growing companies can leverage to accelerate their growth.
