Dr. Gerald Friedman on tour of Oregon on behalf of Health Care for All
Gerald Friedman, Phd., Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts, will speak in Bend on Sunday, May 18. His statewide tour is sponsored by the Oregon Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program, the Main Street Alliance and Health Care for All Oregon.
He will appear at the Kilns College Bookstore, 550 SW Industrial Way, Suite 180, at 2:30 pm on Sunday the 18th. His visit here is hosted by the Central Oregon Social Justice Center, 155 NW Irving Ave. in Bend. The event is free. A discussion will follow the presentation.

Dr. Friedman will share the results of his studies of a possible universal, publicly funded healthcare system in the United States and the potential economic impact on Oregon and the United States.His stop in Bend comes near the end of a seven-city tour of the state.
