A ground breaking ceremony was held today that included Pacific Pizza and Brew restaurateur, Kenneth “Jeff” Johnson, property owner, Bob Dietz of Century Park, LLC, Architect Darren Thomas and Brett Matteis of HSW Construction, general contractor.
Bend’s new family-style restaurant, Pacific Pizza and Brew is under construction at Century Park Shopping Center, 340 SW Century Drive.
Since signing the lease for the build-to-suit property last November, Pacific Pizza and Brew owners Jeff and Jennifer Johnson have been working with Bend-based architect, Darren Thomas on the planning and design for the restaurant which includes a 3,761 square foot open space with high ceilings and an interior layout featuring family-style/community seating. “After a year of planning and looking at schematics, we are very excited to begin the construction process and see the restaurant come to life,” said Jeff Johnson.
Pacific Pizza and Brew, LLC was established in 2013 by Kenneth “Jeff” Johnson and Jennifer Johnson, to create an efficient, modern, quick-service restaurant with an eclectic family-style menu. Based on many influences along the west coast, the “Pacific” menu plans to feature local spirits and brews, pizzas, sandwiches, soups, salads and more, favoring sustainably and locally sourced ingredients.
