Due to the growing demand for Sunlight Solar Energy’s Sunrun solar financing, Sunlight Solar Energy, Inc. is opening a downtown Bend sales office at 61 NW Oregon Street.
Situated at the corner of NW Oregon and the Alley next to the U.S. Post Office, it will be the little office that shines – with the latest solar technology.
Staffers can bring up satellite imagery of all homes in the Bend area and estimate whether the site is good for solar. By bringing in electric bills, Sunlight Solar can estimate the percent solar can cut an electric bill.
On display will be solar real time and historical data monitoring for the downtown Centennial Parking Garage. Sunlight Solar will be installing this cutting edge system during November and December.
A first to Pacific Power customers in Bend, SunRun solar power service allows a low initial investment and then a state tax credit. The tax credit is taken over four years and customers must have an Oregon tax liability. The SunRun system comes with a 20-year parts, labor and performance warranty.
“Making solar affordable without a huge upfront cost is what we have needed in Central Oregon since we started doing grid-tied solar electric systems twelve years ago,” says Paul Israel, president of Sunlight Solar.
Sunlight Solar Energy, Inc. recently completed such marquee installations such as the Bend BroadBand Vault and the Facebook data center in Prineville.
“We partner with the best installers in each SunRun market to provide families with top-quality service and facilitate local job creation, and we’re excited to work with Sunlight Solar Energy,” said SunRun president and co-founder Lynn Jurich. “We’re finally at a point where Oregonians don’t have to choose between their pocketbooks and the planet because solar is the smart financial choice.”
