Wallace Group, Inc. announced that Facebook affiliate Vitesse, LLC and its design team have selected the firm for geotechnical engineering and construction inspection services for Facebook’s Phase 2 Prineville Data Center project located in Crook County, Oregon.
The project includes approximately 350,000 square feet of floor space, an electrical substation and related improvements to serve Facebook’s rapidly expanding social networking customer base. Completion of the project is estimated in September 2012.
The Wallace Group, a Bend-based geo-environmental engineering practice is certified as an Emerging Small Business. The Wallace Group provides geotechnical, environmental, water resource and construction services to public and private-sector clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.
