Eye Surgery Institute recently celebrated the construction of their new office building.
The new Eye Surgery Institute building will be located at 1775 SW Umatilla Ave. in Redmond. It is an 8,000 square foot, one story, cutting edge medical building which will house a fully certified Ambulatory Surgery Center. This new facility is sectioned into three different areas to best meet the needs of the patients and clinic staff. Some featured highlights of the building will be a covered patient drop off, heated sidewalks, as well as a spacious, comfortable lobby.
The clinic side of the building contains six fully-equipped exam rooms with nurses’ station, administrative offices for doctors, accounting, scheduling and break/conference rooms. The large open public lobby is designed to function as a formal conference area for after-hours events and presentations. The ASC will contain a state of the art operating room, laser operation room and pre and post-surgery areas. There will be a dedicated viewing room for patients’ friends and family.
The building is designed by Steele Associates Architects LLC and SunWest Builders is the contractor. “Steele Associates has really enjoyed the design process with the Eye Surgery Institute and we’re just about as excited as they are to see this state of the art facility under construction. It’s not only a great project for our clients, but an important one for Central Oregon as well,” commented Scott Steele.
The building is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in December of 2012.
