At the Oregon Trucking Convention, Great West Casualty Company presented Central Oregon-based Charlie Every Trucking with the prestigious Platinum Fleet Safety Award. Award nominees included over 745 participants from across the country.
Mike Kerr from Great West Casualty Company says, “This prestigious award is only earned by top trucking carriers with outstanding safety records, and Charlie Every Trucking has proven they are a leader in safety standards and a great example of trucking safety.”
The program is nationally recognized to encourage safety in the trucking industry and recognizes companies in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable accident results. Award criteria are based on category, miles recorded throughout the 2012 calendar year, and frequency of preventable accidents. Carriers were eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Participatory award.
Charlie Every Trucking has provided the agricultural and livestock industries throughout Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nevada and Utah for over 30 years. The company is one of the few in the region that has the equipment and experience to haul livestock on the same day it hauls heavy equipment and grain or garbanzo beans.
