Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral Home Commemorating 100-year Anniversary

To commemorate 100 years of serving families in Central Oregon, Niswonger-Reynolds Funeral home is hosting a Business After Hours event June 22 at 5pm.

Locally-owned by Jerome and Dawna Daniel, the family-run funeral home was originally established in a small “Undertaking Parlor” in June 1911 by mortician Charles Niswonger. Niswonger-Reynolds has since expanded to include a memorial chapel, a private viewing room and other facilities.

Niswonger-Reynolds’ legacy of reliability and professionalism has been maintained by the Daniel family since they purchased the funeral home in 2004. “We’re honored to serve the community with the integrity and compassion every family deserves in their time of need,” explains Funeral Director Jerome Daniel.

Jerome is a fourth generation funeral director and embalmer, whose great grandfather started one of the first “funeral parlors” in Minnesota. He and his wife Dawna have owned and operated family-run funeral homes for 35 years.  In addition to Niswonger-Reynolds, the couple owns Redmond Memorial, Deschutes Memorial Chapel and Autumn Funerals in Bend and Redmond.
