Oksenholt Hospitality Company (part of the Oregon-based Oksenholt Family of Companies) together with its affiliates has acquired Mount Bachelor Village Resort from Brooks Resources Corporation, both companies announced today. The purchase included 100 percent of the outstanding shares of Mount Bachelor Village Corporation and its subsidiaries. All of the operating businesses and real estate were included in the deal. Purchase price and additional terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We are excited to announce the sale of Mount Bachelor Village Corporation to Oksenholt Hospitality Company,” said Brooks President Kirk Schueler. “Mount Bachelor Village Resort has been a big part of Brooks Resources Corporation for decades,” Schueler continued, “and it was very important for us to find the right buyer—someone who offered our owners not only strong financial stability and a proven track record, but a company that truly cares about our owners and our employees, and one who has a long-term vision for the continued success and future potential of this extraordinary property. We knew we had found the right fit when we met with the Oksenholt team. Their values are consistent with those of Brooks Resources. As Brooks Resources increasingly focuses on its core development business, it was clear that the Oksenholt Family of Companies was best positioned to take Mount Bachelor Village Resort to the next level.”

“We are very happy our offer was selected and honored to be chosen as the acquirer of ‪Mount Bachelor Village Resort,” said Oksenholt Companies CEO Jon Oksenholt. “The acquisition marketplace is extremely competitive and Mount Bachelor Village Resort is a special property. We look forward to engaging the owners and employees of Mount Bachelor Village Resort, and to welcoming them to the Oksenholt Family of Companies.”

Mount Bachelor Village Resort will continue to operate as usual, with the addition of a cross-marketing agreement with Meredith Lodging, an award-winning provider of vacation rentals in Oregon with homes along the coast and in Bend and Sunriver. Current Mt. Bachelor Village Resort staff and management will remain in place.
