Oregon Innovative Marketing Online Workshop Teaches Marketers How to Pivot During a Pandemic

We are currently in uncharted territory. Not since World War II has all of humanity on the globe turned their attention towards a shared conflict. With the Coronavirus having changed how the world now works, businesses and brands have been forced to reimagine much of their normal activities. Workforces are almost exclusively remote, businesses are being classified as essential or non and the values of customers are changing.

How do marketing professionals — either in agency or in-house — adapt to a changing culture while continuing to lead clients forward with great work? The next InnoMix, presented by Oregon Innovative Marketing (OIM), will be a free 90-minute Facebook workshop that will cover exactly that.

On Wednesday, May 6 at 10:30am, local brand strategist Justin Bronson of Citizen + Co. and content strategist Taylor Hooks of The Bold Kind will teach us how to utilize the tools they use when guiding their clients through the process of making a significant change.

“So far, the collective recommendation from reputable agencies and thought leaders has been to pivot — to shift messaging, methods or even an entire business model,” said Bronson. “But what if you don’t know how to pivot your messaging or how to reimagine your business model? The workshop is designed to walk marketers through the whole process.”

The workshop will be moderated by Chelsea Callicott, Curator of Community at The Haven community co-working space. Attendees will be invited to submit questions before and during the event that will be answered during a Q&A at the end of the event.
