The Pine Tavern in Bend rolls out the red carpet for veterans on Friday, November 11 for Veterans Day with a complimentary meal as a small token of appreciation for their service. Reservations are recommended.

As a vet himself, Bill McCormick has been committed to this tradition for over twenty years. As cofounder of McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants he was recognized in 2005 by The Department of Veterans Affairs and presented with the prestigious Secretary’s Award.

“Serving a meal to the vets is an honor and enables us to reach out and give thanks to folks for their service to our country”, says Bill.
