Redmond Airport Kicks Off Summer Travel Season with New Service to Phoenix & Additional Summer Flights Options

On June 02, Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) in partnership with American Airlines launched non-stop service to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).  RDM will also gain six additional flights to current destinations for the summer.  These seasonal flights expand travel options for passengers to and from RDM during the busy summer travel season.

The American Airlines PHX non-stop flight will depart daily from RDM at 12:01pm, arriving in PHX at 2:20pm.  Departures to RDM will leave PHX at 8:15pm, arriving in RDM at 10:20pm.  American Airlines will use a Bombardier CRJ-700 series aircraft accommodating up to 67 passengers.  The first class cabin contains nine reclining seats.

The six addition summer flights will increase service to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Portland International Airport (PDX), Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Denver International Airport (DEN).

Alaska Airlines will added PDX and SEA flights beginning June 05.  The PDX departure arrives from PDX to RDM at 7:08pm and departs RDM to PDX at 7:40pm.  The SEA flight arrives from PDX to RDM at 8:23pm and departs RDM to SEA at 8:55pm.

Delta Airlines is currently operating an additional SLC flight on Saturdays.  The additional flight arrives to RDM close to noon and departs RDM between 12:09pm and 1:30pm depending on the day.

United Airlines added one DEN and two SFO flights beginning June 09.  The DEN flight arrives to RDM at 12:54pm and departs RDM at 1:25pm.  The first additional SFO flight arrives to RDM at 10:06am and departs RDM at 10:36am, the second SFO arrives to RDM at 6:21pm and departs RDM at 6:55pm.

RDM encourages passengers to arrive to the Airport 90 minutes prior to departure time to clear through the TSA screening process.  As a reminder, the curb at the front of the Terminal is for active loading and unloading.  The pay parking lot is $1.00 for the first 30 minutes, then changes to the hourly rate of $2.00.  The daily maximum is $10.00 per day and the seventh day of parking is free.  Please check RDM’s website for additional parking information and other helpful travel links to TSA and air carriers at www.flyrdm.com .
