You’ve got the rhythm and moves, so hustle over to the Redmond Chamber’s Dinner, Dance & Auction. The public is invited to join the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB for an evening of 1970’s Disco fun and community celebration during its annual fundraising event on Friday, October 23 at 6pm in the South Sister building at the Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center.

“Now in its 30th year, we are going back forty years to reconnect with polyester suits, platform shoes, big hair and music that still holds up today,” said Redmond Chamber marketing director, Charlie Rucker. “You will have a chance to dress in your most glamourous 70’s attire, or observe people who do, while raising money for a great cause, the Redmond Chamber.” We depend on you to enable us to do great things for Redmond. Whether parades, summer concerts, or helping the community, we appreciate your support and hope events like this make your generosity even more fun!

The cost to attend the event is $50 per person and $500 per corporate table of eight, which includes advertising at the event and a special gift. The evening will include a themed dinner, beverages, music by Flip Flop Sounds, dancing, and silent & live auctions. 70’s-themed activities will also take place during the evening, including a costume contest for all who opt to dress up for the occasion.
“As a fundraiser, the Dinner, Dance & Auction obviously serves a greater purpose for us here at the Redmond Chamber,” said executive director Eric Sande. “That said, our top goal each year is to make sure the event lives up to its billing as this community’s social event of the year. That means making sure all who attend leave having had a great time and a wonderful evening.”

The Chamber Dinner, Dance & Auction is open to the public. To learn more about this great event, visit www.visitredmondoregon.com or call the Redmond Chamber of Commerce at 541-923-5191.
