City of Redmond’s Mayor Ed Fitch will deliver his annual State of the City address from 10-11am, on Thursday, May 28, at Redmond City Hall, located at 411 SW Ninth St. The State of the City address will reflect on the past year, provide updates on city projects, current challenges, and a look ahead at key initiatives for the upcoming Fiscal year 2026/27.
Mayor Fitch will share his focus areas which include fiscal responsibility, quality of life, economic vitality, public safety, and environmental stewardship
“The address will focus on the opportunities and challenges shaping our community, the City of Redmond’s proactive approach to managing growth, and our commitment to providing high‑quality services grounded in transparency and accountability,” states Redmond Mayor Ed Fitch.
Additionally, Mayor Fitch will provide an overview of city priorities ranging from infrastructure, affordable housing, and long-range planning efforts to water conservation initiatives.
The State of the City address is open to the public and free to attend. The address will stream live on the city’s website at redmondoregon.gov/stateofthecity. A recording will also be available for on-demand viewing.
