If you think working out and fitness is mundane and dread going to the gym; it’s all about to change. Bend’s first Dance + Pole Fitness Boutique is introducing a whole new way of exercising by taking traditional workouts and adding dance movement; refining pole and dance fitness formats; and redefining what it means to be sexy. On June 8, Seksé Fit will reveal their vision, company values and plans for the future. And in case you didn’t know, they are more than a pole studio, and they are not a professional dance studio either; Seksé Fit is dance fitness for adults of all levels, ages, sizes, races and identities.
Seksé Fit houses three studios in its boutique, located in the breezeway at the burgeoning Box Factory… and although their classes give members an optimal physical, cognitive and visceral workout, their goal is for participants is to unleash and have fun. Here’s a snapshot of their of-ferings:
Pole Studio: Primarily pole fitness with a couple of pole dancing classes
Dance Studio: Toning, strength, flexibility mixed with dance movement, dance cardio and classes ranging from hip hop to neo-burlesque
Mixed Use: Youth Movement, specialty classes and space rental
Wiggle Room: Daycare for five and under
Private Parties: Bachelorette, corporate functions, ladies night out or original events
A community is already forming, where women and men are sharing their stories, making friends, and reconnecting with their bodies and their innate instincts to dance. Most important-ly, they leave feeling a little lighter on their feet, stronger physically and emotionally, and with a “seksé” glow.
