It is the Bend Chamber’s belief that everything begins with leadership. As a growing and very special region in Oregon, the issues become increasingly more complex and the need for leadership is greater than ever. After all, who will “pass the torch” and continue to build upon what was already created by our pillars before us?

“I’m excited to guide another class of emerging local leaders through this program and see the impact they will have on this community,” said Jamie Christman, executive director, Leadership Bend.

Over the course of nine months, the participants of Leadership Bend will work with local leaders to expand awareness and understanding of the complex issues and opportunities facing Bend and the region.

Now in its 23rd year, the program has over 360 alumni that include a variety of business owners, CEOs, city managers, superintendents, executive directors, elected officials, industry leaders and professionals. Leadership Bend is fully supported by local community resources and is grateful for a community that believes in investing in its local leadership.
