Seven Peaks School is Bend’s only independent, International Baccalaureate MYP school. We are dedicated to smaller class sizes, academic excellence, outstanding music, art, spanish and P.E. programs, service learning, and personal character development for every student. The SPS community is supported by an exceptional teaching staff, committed leadership, involved parents and a full-time school counselor.

International Baccalaureate is an internationally recognized system, offered in approximately 150 countries, with an academically rigorous curriculum centered on critical thinking with a strong worldview. Students are encouraged to question, debate, discuss, and demonstrate their learning. The goal is to develop internationally-mindedcitizens of the world who are principled, knowledgeable, reflective inquirers and communicators. Core subjects intermingle with the arts as teachers collaborate to provide a solid, challenging curriculum stimulating curiosity and fostering a spirit of discovery. Year after year, the majority of SPS students begin high school taking honors classes or pursuing further IB studies.

Our children live in a globalized, interconnected world and they need to be prepared for it. The Seven Peaks environment is one in which students receive that preparation while being well-known by their teachers and actively engaged in their learning experience.

As one parent says, “This is a nurturing, happy, inspiring community. My children love it and I’m grateful they are here.”

Seven Peaks School is a non-profit, 501(c)3 serving children in Junior-Kindergarten through 8th grade.
