SIMBAWARE, Inc., a Massachusetts headquarter company with product design, business consulting, sales and marketing operations in Bend, Oregon announces the launch of its first application, a simple and affordable, cloud-based, electronic quality management system (QMS).
SIMBAWARE was founded in 2015 to enable its customers to more efficiently improve quality and compliance while increasing competitiveness and reducing risk. Prior to launch, SIMBAWARE had already contracted two customers, a local life science research product manufacturing company and a multi-billion dollar medical device company.
SIMBAWARE was founded by a team of regulatory and quality leaders, business administration and software engineering veterans based in Bend, Oregon, Massachusetts and Austria. With decades of experience implementing regulatory and quality assurance processes and systems in global manufacturers of pharmaceutical and medical device companies, the team recognized that existing software platforms were too cumbersome or inflexible. As such these existing platforms are expensive or otherwise out of reach of most regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, aviation, automotive, food, etc.) manufacturers and suppliers.
According to Manfred Walder, vice president of operations and quality at SIMBAWARE, the company has achieved milestones in its product development and launch in mere months that would have taken years at established organizations.
