Raptors of the Desert Sky Starts Saturday

Experience the agility of owls, hawks and perhaps even a turkey vulture in flight during Raptors of the Desert Sky, every day at 11:30 am starting this Saturday. Naturalists narrate the action and share about the adaptations and habitat of these powerful birds of prey.

Tickets go on sale for that day’s program at Admissions and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. And they often sell out by 10am!

New Exhibition Opening: Vistas del Cielo

Imagine strolling through a life-size diorama that takes you on a journey through the world of High Desert vaqueros—Latinx cowboys—brought to life with vibrant piñata paper. That is the experience multidisciplinary artist Justin Favela is bringing to the High Desert Museum in the new, original exhibition Vistas del Cielo—views from the sky—opening this Saturday!
