Learn all about the sport of fly fishing in the crystal clear waters of Central Oregon September 19-20 at the Sunriver Fly Fishing Festival in The Village in Sunriver. Come and enjoy Central Oregon at one of the best times of the year, while the weather is still beautiful and the peaceful pace of autumn sets in.
The festival raises money in support of education and fisheries in Central Oregon. Festival hours are 10am to 6pm Saturday, September 19 and 10am to 3pm Sunday, September 20.
Attendees will discover a variety of activities including beginning fly tying classes and demonstrations from world-class fly tying experts. Other activities feature hands-on practice fly casting and a workshop on fly fishing Central Oregon rivers. A special kids’ area will offer fly fishing lessons and education, as well as some bouncy house fun. Vendors and exhibitors will be on hand to offer information on angling accessories and equipment as well as local environmental issues.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy the festival….then stay for a while to enjoy hiking, fishing and relaxing in the lakes, rivers and forests surrounding Sunriver.
