About Technology Association of Oregon
The Technology Association of Oregon is a force behind the tech industry—supporting entrepreneurs, connecting peers and decision makers and helping establish the Northwest as a global hub for innovation. They also do economic impact reports and conduct research to tell the story of the region’s tech industry both qualitatively and quantitatively.
TAO works with federal, state and local officials to promote public policies that ensure the continued growth and success of Oregon’s tech industry, in addition to increasing opportunities for statewide economic development. They help Oregon attract and retain the nation’s best tech talent by strengthening recruitment, skill development and opportunities for employees and employers.
TAO-Central Oregon is the local arm of the larger association and a steering committee that consists of decision makers from 10 Central Oregon technology companies guides TAO-Central Oregon’s priorities.
