Hall of Dreamers Final Selection & Salon Discussion
TEDxBend is owned by the community. With historically high demand for TEDxBend tickets, we are evolving the way our Central Oregon community experiences this amazing event about Ideas Worth Spreading.
The TEDxBend ticket lottery for the April 23 main event has sold out once again this year and there are only a few seats left for Youth Sponsored Tickets at TEDxBend.com
And while there’s nothing quite like experiencing TEDxBend in person, organizers want everyone to be able to tune in, be inspired and dream forward from our collective conversations. What ideas do we in Central Oregon have for ourselves, our families, our planet, our economy and our future that could rock the world?
Host or Join a Viewing Party and Experience TEDxBend live at TEDxBend.com
This year we are live streaming the event online at TEDxBend.com. You are encouraged to either host or attend one of the many live viewing parties taking place across Central Oregon on April You can find a viewing party or list your own on the TEDxBend Facebook Event page

Hall of Dreamers Final Selection
For this 5th annual festival of ideas worth spreading, TEDxBend is honoring Central Oregon’s
collective ownership of this inspiring and visionary event through greater community involvement and celebration of local dreamers. What ideas do we in Central Oregon have for ourselves, our families, our planet, our economy, and our future that could rock the world?
TEDxBend has selected 10 local people to share their dream with Central Oregon. These
Dreamers will be showcased in a special exhibit at TEDxBend on April 23 at Bend High School.
Displays will include a portrait, by local photographer Carol Sternkopf, of the Dreamer with their ideas or dreams.
A diverse team of local leaders selected the applicants using the following criteria:
- Their creativity and the inspiration their ideas stimulate
- Their ability to clearly articulate what they dream
- The practical ways their dreams manifest
