TEDxBend Brings Local and National Speakers Together for a Curated Day of Ideas in Central Oregon

TEDxBend will return to Bend on May 30, 2026, hosted at First Presbyterian Bend, offering a full day of thought-provoking talks, meaningful storytelling and curated live performances designed to inspire curiosity and connection across Central Oregon.

TEDxBend is an independently organized TEDx event produced locally by a volunteer team committed to creating a high-quality, inclusive experience rooted in the Bend community. The event brings together local and national speakers, each offering ideas meant to challenge assumptions, spark conversation, and encourage new ways of thinking.

The program features impactful talks from local and national voices who have been thoughtfully mentored to ensure clarity, authenticity, and relevance. Curated live performances are woven throughout the day to complement the themes and create space for reflection.

Attendees can experience TEDxBend in two ways. The LIVE Stage Experience offers an immersive, in-room setting with speakers and performers. The Watch Party Experience provides a shared viewing environment designed to encourage connection and conversation in a more relaxed setting.

“TEDxBend is about creating a shared experience that feels both inspiring and accessible,” said Scott Douglass, TEDxBend event manager. “We aim to highlight ideas from local and national voices that feel meaningful to our community, ideas that encourage people to think differently, connect more deeply and continue the conversation beyond the event.”

Tickets and event updates, including speaker topics and live performer announcements, will be available at TEDxBend.org.
