Tuesday, December 1 the Tower Theatre Foundation will be celebrating Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to celebrate generosity worldwide. Join us in the movement and help us give Central Oregon students access to the performing arts.
Giving Tuesday also marks the beginning of the Tower Theatre’s year-end campaign to raise money for the Stover Education Fund. Our goal for Giving Tuesday 2015 is to raise enough money to bring 100 kids to the theatre, and to enhance the cultural experiences, social connections, and artistic expressions of the next generation of theatre-goers.
Every $25 donation will allow 1 student to experience the excitement and enrichment of performing arts, and we’ll put donors’ names on each window pane across the Tower’s entrance on Wall Street for every $25 we receive.“It’s one way we can help students and teachers alike experience the thrill, magic, and meaning of performing arts,” said Alison Hamm, chair of the Tower Foundation board of directors. “We want to see how many seats for an educational program we can fill in one day!”
Giving Tuesday is ALL DAY December 1 online at www.TowerTheatre.org or stop by the Tower Theatre between 10am and 5pm, and help us gift-wrap the Tower with your gifts of giving! Then share how you helped redefine the gift of giving this holiday season on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter: #GivingTuesday @towertheatrebend #OregoniansGive
