Treehouse Therapies Associates is a nonprofit pediatric clinic providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services in Central Oregon. Our services enable children with disabilities and delays in development to fully participate in the activities of childhood, such as crawling, walking, playing, eating, writing, communicating, coping and making friends.
The mission of Treehouse Therapies is to positively impact children, families, and our community by providing compassionate, comprehensive, and affordable therapy programs for all children, regardless of their insurance or financial limitations. We want Central Oregon to be a place where all children can thrive!
At clinics in Bend and Redmond, they work with children of all ages. They can help with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to delays in development, feeding concerns, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, genetic syndromes, sensory processing challenges, orthopedic concerns, toe walking and other movement disorders.
Physical therapy(PT) addresses movement concerns including issues related to muscle tone, strength, joint movement, coordination, balance, endurance and motor planning. They also specialize in baby treatment, including developmental sequencing and treatment of torticollis and plagiocephaly.
Occupational therapy (OT) can help improve independence and participation in daily routines, such as self-care, school, and play time. They often address challenges with sensory processing, social participation and fine motor skills. In some cases, they can offer aquatic therapy, which is PT or OT offered in a warm pool. Speech-Language Pathology is provided by Redmond Speech and Language at locations in Bend and Redmond. The goal of speech therapy is to assist children in achieving optimal speech and language skills so they can communicate effectively.
“Our family has seen amazing growth in “Chris” since he started at Treehouse. He is now able to catch a ball, briefly stand on hisown, climb onto swings, get his socks on and off by himself, pull his pants up… and much more.” -Mother of a client
