Worthy Garden Club presents Skeptiod Media Presentation
The ‘smoking guns’ that prove fossil fuels are warming our earth
Brian Dunning, executive director for Skeptoid Media, will give a presentation at Worthy Brewery’s Hop Mahal, 495 NE Bellevue Drive in Bend, Wednesday, October 24. Doors open at 6:30pm with the presentation at 7pm. The event, presented by the Worthy Garden Club, is free, but seating is limited.
About the presentation:
Humans burning fossil fuels are responsible for 100 percent of the excess heat building up in our oceans and atmosphere, but half the people you know are ideologically preconditioned to reject that fact. Too much of its supporting evidence comes from sources they don’t trust, and the sources they do trust provide them with an ample supply of alternative facts.
Fortunately, basic science has given us two ‘smoking guns’ that provide the solid proof laying the blame squarely on fossil fuels; there’s no dispute. Dunning will share two talking points that will make you unbeatable in any global warming conversation.
