Bend Area Transit’s (BAT) Ride the River service is breaking records this summer, and plans to celebrate the end of the season with free shuttle service and more on Thursday, Aug. 28.
The free service will run from 11am to 6:20pm that day. Regular service is scheduled to continue until Labor Day, Sept. 1 when one-time users will again have to pay a $1 fee to use the service.
BAT is partnering with Power 94 radio for Thursday’s event, which includes the use of life jackets and complimentary beverages.
