Bend, Oregon Bloom Project Announces Fundraiser Line Up

The Bloom Project announced the artists, floral designers and sponsors of their annual fundraising event, Bouquets of the Heart which takes place May 1, 11:30am-1:30pm at Bend Golf & Country Club. Five floral designers will present during the event, sharing inspiration for their floral masterpieces along with a discussion on the use of flowers, plant materials, containers as well as floral tips.

Floral designers have conceptualized their creations from the work of five local artists. Paintings and artwork will be on display during the event.

The artists for the 2015 event are Ann Bullwinkel, Jim Clark, Gilbert Dellinger, Lubbesmeyer sisters and Shelli Walters. The floral designers are Anna Aram of Ana’s Rose N Thorn, Kim Foren with Geranium Lake Flowers in Portland, Madison Hartley with A Native Bloom, Paula Knapek from Donner Flower Shop, and Allison Schultz of Heirloom.

2015 event sponsors are Audio Visions Plus, Byron Roe Photography, Kirsti Wolfe Designs, Martha Hendrick with Strategic Realty, Mount Bachelor Village Resort, Pacific Source, Premier Printing and Tallus Capital Management.

The Bloom Project would also like to thank the following supporters who have pre-purchased the event’s floral display: Bend Memorial Clinic, The Oxford Hotel, Pronghorn,
St. Charles Bend and Touchmark.

The Bloom Project is a non-profit organization that designs fresh floral arrangements for hospice and palliative care patients, providing beauty and joy during a difficult time. Many of the flowers used in the arrangements are donated by grocery stores, wholesalers and special events. On a weekly basis, volunteers create simple arrangements that hospice staff give to their patients.
