Speeds will be increased automatically this month at no cost to customers.
When it comes to business internet service in Central Oregon, the fastest is getting even faster. More than 3,500 BendBroadband business customers are receiving internet speed upgrades this month at no additional cost.
Every customer receiving an upgrade will have at least double their previous available upload bandwidth and most will also have download speeds up to 25 Mbps more than their previously available download bandwidth.
Customers receiving an upgrade will be notified by mail on July 7 with the specifics of their speed upgrade. BendBroadband recently upgraded its infrastructure, nearly quadrupling its network capacity, which allows for the speed upgrades.
“This free upgrade is our way of saying thank you to our customers,” said Britt Wehrman, director of commercial marketing at BendBroadband. “We value our businesses and want to make sure they’re receiving the best they can out of the service we provide.”
To minimize disruption to customers, BendBroadband will make the changes during an overnight maintenance window beginning July 11. Stay tuned to www.bendbroadband.com/business for changes.
