Comprehensive Physical Therapy in Bend

0

I am a Licensed Physical Therapist with over 30 years of clinical practice, learning and skill development. I currently have a private practice in Bend. I combine traditional Physical Therapy interventions, Manual Therapy and effective modalities to create a comprehensive approach to treating musculoskeletal and other physical problems. Manual Therapy interventions include Functional Manual Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Neural Manipulation, Zero-Balancing, Craniosacral Therapy and the Integrated Systems Model. Intervention can also include Frequency Specific Microcurrent, The Alexander Technique of Postural Education and Therapeutic Exercise. My goal is to help to alleviate pain and dysfunction with these gentle interventions and then address the postural and movement habits that have contributed to the development of these problems. As we become aware of how to improve our everyday movement activities, we minimize our pain and dysfunction and optimize our feeling of well-being.

Comprehensive Physical Therapy is beneficial for many conditions, including the following:

  • Chronic and Acute low Back Pain
  • Chronic and Acute Neck and Shoulder Pain
  • Fibromyalgia & Myofascial Pain Syndrome
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Orthopedic Injuries
  • Peripheral Neuropathy
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Knee, Ankle and Foot Problems
  • Facial Pain/TMJ Pain Syndrome
  • Tennis Elbow
  • Lymphedema

I am a Certified Functional Manual Therapist, a certified practitioner of Frequency Specific Microcurrent, a certified practitioner of Neural Manipulation, a certified Teaching Assistant of Visceral Manipulation for the Barral Institute, a certified practitioner of Zero-Balancing, and a certified teacher of The Alexander Technique.
