Three businesses hang new signs as occupancy stay at 95 percent for entire year.

The Downtown Bend Business Association announces business changes and the current occupancy rate for the end of the fourth quarter of 2013. Three new businesses hung new signs in Downtown Bend and the occupancy remained at 95 percent for the entire year. According to DBBA records, this is the first time the rate has stayed so high for one calendar year.

The occupancy rate is based on the number of leased retail/restaurant spaces in the downtown district.“The three new businesses that have leased this quarter represent a great evolution for the district. The new businesses each have models that are unique to Bend and will certainly give them a good chance at success and will complement the district well. “says DBBA Executive Director Chuck Arnold.
