Structus Building Technologies Receives Recognition as one of Oregon’s Top Mid-Sized Manufacturers

Bend company included in Portland Business Journal’s 2012 Oregon Manufacturing Awards. The Journal recognized nine manufacturers that are driving the region’s economy through innovation and strategic evolution.

Criteria for the award included company financial performance, overall business strategy and innovative approaches such as excellence in internal operations, corporate training and manufacturing processes, including sustainable practices. Structus had been previously honored in 2007 with a Manufacturing Excellence Award by Economic Development for Central Oregon for its process excellence, product innovation, and leadership in lean manufacturing.

The winner of the 2012 Manufacturing Award for the medium-sized company category was Korvis Automation, a Corvallis based company focused on precision motion systems and control, microfluidics, industrial inkjet, opto-mechanics, and automated inspection systems.
