Tickets are now available to tour the best and largest Christmas collection in Bend, The I’ll Be Home For Christmas Home Tour returns December 7 and 8 from 10am to 4pm.

Organized by Des Chutes Historical Museum Collections Manager Susan Jorgensen, the tour is a holiday benefit designed to raise funds for four local non-profits: the Des Chutes Historical Museum, the Williams Syndrome Foundation, the Children’s Vision Foundation, and the Bend Heroes Foundation.

The tour features the private home and Christmas collection of Susan Jorgensen, Des Chutes Historical Museum conservator and avid Christmas collector, as well as two neighboring homes. Decorations span over 100 years, featuring antique glass and Hallmark, with themes ranging from the traditional to contemporary. Susan installs over 40 decorated trees in her home, a nutcracker collection and handmade quilts and wall hangings. Collecting Christmas decorations for over 40 years, her collection is so large that some items only go on display every two or three years on rotation.

Tours start at 21163 Clairaway Avenue, located West of 27th between Reed Market and Beer Creek Roads.

Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased in advance at the Des Chutes Historical Museum. Admission at the door is $6.00.
