Opportunity Knocks Hosts DARING TEAMS: Unlocking Results through Trust, Healthy Conflict & Peer to Peer Accountability in Bend, Oregon

Opportunity Knocks, Central Oregon’s small business advisory organization will host a Best Practices Seminar on Daring Teams on April 8 at the Doubletree by Hilton in downtown Bend from 11:30am-1pm with lunch included.

The seminar will explore the building blocks for creating great teams, or fixing broken ones and will include: what makes a good team great, the role of the leader in a healthy team and the daring way for teams: the paradox of vulnerability in creating trust, empathy matters and how to foster belonging and connection in your team.

Presenter of the seminar is Moe Carrick, principal and founder of Moementum, Inc. a global consulting firm whose mission is to help solve the world’s big problems through creating great leaders, connected partnerships and resilient organizations.

Moe Carrick is a Certified Daring Way Facilitator. The Daring Way is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brene Brown. The method was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational settings. The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent and lead. Moe’s engaging presentation style will leave you with practical take-aways and inspiration.
