Central Oregon Community College will offer its Leadership Lab Series: Growing Great Leaders this fall, a six-session professional development program designed for emerging and new leaders as well as experienced professionals looking to strengthen their leadership skills.
Led by instructor Mike Cieri, the series combines classroom instruction, group exercises, individual and group coaching, and work between sessions. Participants will meet twice each month for half-day sessions and complete activities such as readings, assessments and workplace-based assignments intended to extend learning beyond the classroom.
Sessions will cover Emotional Intelligence on October 8, Accountability and Delegation on October 22, Coaching and Feedback Techniques on November 5, Working with Difficult People on November 19, Managing Daily Performance on December 3 and Team Building in Challenging Times on December 17.
Classes will be held Thursdays from 1-5pm at the COCC Bend Campus. Participants may register for individual sessions for $199 each or enroll in the complete six-session series for $999, a savings of $195.
