If you’re looking for a new way to build strength and feel better, an upcoming Pilates event May 28 may be one you’ll want to put on your calendar. Me’kelle Pilates and In-Joy Pilates will be hosting a multimedia educational open house to teach people from all walks of life about how Pilates can benefit their daily lives and improve their sports performance.
Pilates is a mind-body practice that strengthens and tones the entire body from the core, targeting all of the stabilizer and mover muscles to enable graceful and symmetrical body movement. Strength, increased flexibility, body awareness, a posture as graceful as a ballerina—all of these things describe the benefits of Pilates.
“Imagine how good your body would feel if all your muscles were flexible, strong and working together,” says Me’kelle Bronsan, owner of Me’kelle Pilates. “Imagine how radically different your daily life would be and how you might better perform your favorite sport or outdoor activity, and how pre-existing injuries could become less painful. These are among the many benefits of doing Pilates regularly, and on May 28, we will help you discover how you can realize them in your life.”
