Pine Tavern Owner, Bill McCormick, Proudly Continues the 23-Year Tradition
The Pine Tavern in Bend proudly rolls out the red carpet for veterans on Saturday, November 11 and 12 for Veterans Day with a complimentary meal as a small token of appreciation for their service. Reservations are recommended.
As a vet himself, Bill McCormick has been committed to this tradition for over twenty years. As co-founder of McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants he was recognized in 2005 by The Department of Veterans Affairs and presented with the prestigious Secretary’s Award. “Serving a meal to the vets is an honor and enables us to reach out and give thanks to folks for their service to our country”, says Bill. Bill and Gail McCormick, Pine Tavern Management and staff look forward to opening their doors with a warm welcome to local veterans on November 11th and 12th.
