Representative Knute Buehler (R-Bend) announced key staff member assignments for the upcoming 2015 Legislative Session. Jordan Conger, chief of staff, and Hollie Conger, legislative assistant, will join the representative in Salem. Jennifer Stephens, campaign manager, will transition into a new role as community relations director in Bend.
“I am proud to have a team of talented and dedicated individuals with roots in Bend,” said Buehler. “It was important to me to hire professional staff that are as committed to serving Bend as I am. We are looking forward to being the voice for Bend and will work hard to solve issues that matter to Oregonians.”
Jordan and Hollie bring legislative experience to the freshman legislator’s office. Jordan has previously served as chief of staff for Representative Jason Conger, political director for the House Republican Office and political director for Dennis Richardson for Governor. Hollie has been legislative assistant for Senator Chris Telfer and legislative assistant for the House Republican Leader Mike McLane.
Representative-elect Knute Buehler plans to commute between Salem and Bend often during the legislative season. “My goal is to stay connected in Bend and bring a Central Oregonian perspective to the Legislature. I have a lot to learn. I welcome your input and value your perspective. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me and my staff,” said Buehler.
Buehler was sworn in on Monday, January 12. The 2015 legislative session begins on February 2. You can contact the Salem legislative office at rep.knutebuehler@state.or.us or 503-986-1454. You can contact the Bend campaign office at info@knutebuehler.com or (458) 206-0647.
